Dear Parents,
With the start of the school year 2026/2027, your children will begin a new chapter in their educational career with the transition to a secondary school. To help you learn more about our school and especially about our school profile, we would like to share some information with you.
On our website, you can find information about the transition from 4th to 5th grade at our school.
Moreover, we offer trial days for your children. On these days, students can experience our daily school life, get to know our school profile up close, and gain a first personal impression of our school. The trial days will be held on February 24, 2026, and February 26, 2026. If you would like your child to participate in one of these days, please send an email to schnuppertage@osg.jena.de (subject: Trial Days). Kindly include your child's name and the name of his/her current primary school. The registration deadline is January 23, 2026. You will be notified by email of a successful registration after the registration period.
Additionally, we invite all parents to an information evening at our school. This will take place on January 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM in our auditorium. If you are interested, please register by sending an email to schnuppertage@osg.jena.de (subject: Information Evening) by January 23, 2025.
Finally, we warmly invite you to visit our school on March 6, 2026. On this day, we will have an Open School Evening from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. During this evening, you can get an impression of the school building and engage in conversations with the teachers. From March 16 to March 21, 2026, you can then register your child at our school.
